Role Summary
DataXWorks is hiring a Data Governance Analyst to support compliance-ready data workflows, metadata management, lineage documentation, data quality standards, and audit-ready AI data operations.
The ideal candidate should understand data governance practices and be able to support structured, controlled, and traceable data workflows for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support data governance workflows across AI, analytics, and enterprise data projects.
- Maintain documentation for data lineage, metadata, data ownership, access controls, and quality rules.
- Assist in defining data standards, validation rules, and governance checklists.
- Track data quality issues, policy exceptions, and remediation actions.
- Work with project, data operations, and compliance teams to support audit-ready documentation.
- Support governance requirements for regulated or sensitive datasets.
- Help align datasets with GDPR, HIPAA, and enterprise data handling requirements where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, metadata management, compliance operations, or data management.
- Understanding of data lineage, metadata, access controls, data standards, and audit workflows.
- Experience working with enterprise datasets or regulated data environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Alation, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Good analytical thinking and attention to detail.
