Role Summary
DataXWorks is hiring a detail-oriented AI Data Annotator to support enterprise AI and machine learning projects across Healthcare, Retail, BFSI, and other data-intensive domains.
In this role, you will work with structured and unstructured datasets, review data quality, apply annotation guidelines, and help create reliable training and validation datasets for production AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate, label, and validate text, image, document, and other domain-specific datasets for AI/ML workflows.
- Perform quality checks to ensure annotation accuracy, consistency, and guideline adherence.
- Review ambiguous, sensitive, or edge-case data samples and escalate them when needed.
- Work closely with data operations teams, AI engineers, and project managers to support dataset delivery.
- Follow project-specific annotation guidelines, QA standards, and data governance requirements.
- Support compliance-aware workflows aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, and enterprise data handling standards where applicable.
- Maintain clear documentation of annotation decisions, quality issues, and workflow updates.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in data annotation, data labeling, content moderation, data QA, or similar data operations roles.
- Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, NLP, computer vision, or data training workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex annotation guidelines.
- Ability to work with structured datasets, documents, images, and text-based data.
- Good analytical thinking and judgment for handling edge cases.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working on healthcare, retail, BFSI, or compliance-sensitive datasets is a plus.
